The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn participated in the 4th Eastern Partnership Summit which took place in Riga, Latvia, on 21-22 of May 2015.

«The EU is a project of peace, we work for the good relations with our neighbors and deepen cooperation in the fields of security, stability and prosperity of our European continent», — said Jean Asselborn before recalling that «there is no automaticity between Neighborhood Policy and EU membership. The Eastern Partnership is not directed against anyone; non-indifference of the EU towards neighboring countries does not mean interference».
