On February, 3th and 4th, Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn will participate in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Benelux and Baltic States in Tallinn, Estonia.
During the first working session, ministers will have a discussion on the financial and economic situation of the European Union. The meeting will include an exchange of views on the single market in the field of digital technology and the EU key factors for maintaining competitiveness in this area.
The Wednesday’s agenda includes in particular the crisis in Ukraine. In the context of clashes in the east of the country, the foreign ministers will discuss the relations between the European Union and Russia then different aspects of the European Security Strategy.
They will also examine different challenges at the EU south border and the preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga in May 2015.
